About Thomas FordOur grandfather, Harley Thomas began our family business in 1919. He proudly served the community until 1950 when our uncle, Bill Thomas, and our father, Owen Thomas, acquired the business from him. Bill, who also served as Mayor in Stillwater, partnered with our father until 1975, when Owen became sole owner of the dealership. This year our father will celebrate his 60th year of ownership. My brother Earl and I currently serve as the General Manager and Sales Manager, respectively and the dealership will be handed over to us when Owen retires and we will continue the family tradition of selling and servicing Ford/Lincoln/Mercury vehicles in the Stillwater area. This year also marks the 90th year that our family has served the community as the Ford dealer, making us one of the oldest consecutively owned family dealerships in Oklahoma and one of the oldest consecutively owned Family Ford dealerships in the nation. Our family looks forward to serving the Stillwater community as the Ford dealer for many more years to come and we also look forward to sharing and forming many more friendships with our customers along the way.
